Goddess Report 3 of 4: Juno
(this is a reading that was done for me with my astrology chart information, so this is a 'documentation of a reading' post. Interesting to read about me - but remember, I don't always agree 100% with these....)
Your Juno in Libra: Juno, the asteroid of relatedness, is very much at home the sign that has the most to do with one-to-one relationships. Whether in personal life or business, relating to a long-term partner tends to be a major theme in your life. Learning through relationships is not just an option, it is your life's curriculum. At first glance, your relationships are marked by decorum and sociability, with conversational exchange playing a large part in both your romances and commercial partnerships. For some, a Libran desire for peace and harmony may lead to a stance of "peace at any price."
The problem with this is that, with Juno in Libra, the issues of equality and mutuality assume special importance. You really need to relate to your partner as an equal, with neither one of you being in a one-up or one-down position. You wish to share in decisions and to consult with each other before major decisions are implemented. If these egalitarian needs are not met, you or your partner may become either uncooperative or excessively competitive, and the price of peace may become too high for you to bear. Then, the Libran theme of one-to-one combat will emerge, and your relationship will become an arena for working out a balance of power.
Fortunately, Libra also rules fairness. When you do need to confront each other, you will be able to lay down ground rules that will minimize the carnage. With your preoccupation with equality, you will find in all your one-to-one relationships ample opportunity for learning how to cooperate and to compromise with your partner so that you can come to "win-win" decisions together.
For it to be fulfilling for you, your partnership must be based on friendship. Whatever else you do - creating a home, having children, engaging in a joint business enterprise - enjoying each other's company and conversation is central. While it is not the most intense kind of relationship, friendship tends to endure. Therefore, if and when the mated relationship ends, you and your partner may well continue as friends. It is also possible that, instead of being marriage or the equivalent, the most important, long-lasting relationships of your life may be friendships.
Also, the friends that you have as a couple will be important. Even when you are with a particular partner, you desire that the two of you together can participate in a larger social arena with your friends or with like-minded groups or associations.
Because the Eleventh House is associated with hopes and dreams, it is important that you and your partner share your vision and aspirations for a better life for yourselves or a better world for all.
